How Can Mocktails Liven Up Any Event?
Skip the alcohol! Creative mocktails add excitement to any party. Fun & easy ideas for all occasions.

For some reason, alcohol and parties seem to go hand in hand.  Sometimes, people think alcohol helps liven up their mood, which in turn makes them seem more fun. It is a social booster for some and a tool to bring the party to the next level. But, does it have you wondering what happened the night before and feeling your not so best self in the morning?
Is it time to rethink how you drink?  Well, fret no more! Mocktails are here to save the day!

What Are Mocktails?

Mocktails are super fun and refreshing drinks, just like cocktails, but without the alcohol. Just like cocktails, they come in all sorts of flavors and colors, and they're a perfect way to make sure everyone at your event has something delicious to sip on. For non-drinkers, it can also be a great way to still feel like you are celebrating.
Think of mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks like the cool, non-alcoholic cousin of the classic cocktail. They come in different flavors and colors, with fizzy bubbles, sweet and tart juices, and sometimes even surprising ingredients like herbs and spices.  Our favorite mocktails to bring to the party are the Mojito Mule or the Cadillac Margarita.

How To Make Mocktails?

The beauty of mocktails is there are no rules! But if you’re trying to figure out where to start, here is a simple guide on how to make your mocktails.

1. Pick Your Base

This is the foundation of your drink. Fruity juices like orange, pineapple, or cranberry are popular choices. You can also try sodas if you want a familiar taste with a kick.
For a lighter touch, try sparkling water, flavored seltzer, or even coconut water.

2. Flavor Boosters

Add something else to your drinks. This is where things get exciting! Try out fresh fruits like berries or citrus slices for a burst of flavor.
You can also add fresh herbs like mint, basil, or rosemary, for a unique touch. Syrups like grenadine or simple syrup can add sweetness.
Our non-alcoholic spirits like Cinnamon Whiskey adds a kick of cinnamon, or try our Eau de Vie for an orange flavor.

3. Top it Off

Get creative with garnishes like fresh fruit slices, sprigs of mint, or even edible flowers. For a fizzy finish, add a splash of soda water or top it off with a scoop of sherbet.
Just like any cocktail, they are served in fun glasses like mason jars, whiskey glasses, vintage goblets, even teacups, and the like. Distribute them around the party and place them on dressed high boy cocktail tables for people to enjoy.

Benefits of Serving Mocktails

Beyond inclusivity and fun, mocktails can be beneficial as well. Here are some additional advantages of serving mocktails at your event:

Healthier Choice

With the option to make your drink, mocktails can contribute to lower calories and sugar than alcoholic drinks. You can also pack them with vitamins and antioxidants by using fresh fruits and vegetables.

Hydration Station
Many mocktail bases, like coconut and sparkling water, are naturally hydrating. This is especially important for outdoor events or during hot weather.

Accommodates Dietary Needs

With so many ingredient options, you can easily create mocktails that are vegan, gluten-free, or sugar-free to cater to your guests' dietary needs.
Next time you plan an event, ditch the boring drinks and whip up some delicious mocktails! They're a fun, inclusive, and creative way to make your event one to remember. Your guests will thank you for it!   By: CV Linens and Enjoy Mocktails
